God-sent and God-given occasions in my life

This publication has been started in reply to a friend’s request in Facebook to share some moments from our lives where we have been aware that particular situations are arranged by God – something given or somebody sent to us by God. The original request was:
“Are YOU aware of situations created by God just FOR YOU or people God sent just for you? Please give a few examples…”
I think this topic is worth sharing with more people as another testimony of God’s omnipotence and infinite Love and decided to make it more public through our blog.
It all started in early 1998 when I underwent an incident that totally changed direction of my life. The short story:
I was caught by a gang in Bulgarian capital. They got mad at me because I was supposed to have money for purchasing vehicle but in the last minute I decided not to take the money with me. I was beaten half to death and they took me to a small lake where they were going to kill me and dump the body in the water since I already saw their faces. The last second their boss said: “Stop. Leave him alone.” and they left.
After that I had enough time to review all my life and clearly see that I was simply given another chance for change, most likely the last one. Needless to mention that before that happened I lived empty, useless life with no goal, heavily abusing my physical body with alcohol and disregarding my wife and children.
Soon later a friend of mine gave me “Autobiography of a Yogi” and I immediately got connected to my Guru – the author and founder of Cyberspace Ashram for Kriya Yoga, God and Love.
Who was the one to change gangs’ boss mind in the last second and arrange all my life thereafter?
God is almighty and can create or arrange anything for the right cause or just for Love – from meeting with the right person at the right time to finding the right job. I can witness many God sent and God given happenings in my life. This publication is just part of them and I will describe my job situation for the last several months in the USA before my departure for Bulgaria.
In the end of August 2010, financially we were down to “zero” due to a gross negligence which had led to broken leg and surgery in February the same year. Since I had not had permanent employer I started my job search in September from scratch. Everything was extremely slow moving and soon I got desperate.
End of September, suddenly, my wife confessed that she wants to work as a pediatrician again. We checked with Bulgarian Ministry of Health and got a response that they changed the law in 2009 and Medical Doctor’s rights do not expire anymore. That was great news and we decided to return back to Bulgaria for good.
And we needed to save some money asap to make the move possible in the Spring of 2011. I briefly calculated that I need to work between 70 and 90 hours weekly to accomplish our move as planned. In this totally different situation the only place to look for a job was … God.
With my profession as caregiver, without permanent employer, to get so many hours a week is possible only if I find work in the home care field, combined with part time work for some nursing homes and staffing agencies. So, I prayed to God for very precise work schedule: working home care night shifts 10-12 hours a day and some day shifts in the nursing home (in the meantime I got hired by one rehabilitation center for part time, but was getting very little work there).
And soon it started!
I was in the file of one home care registry for one year and got nothing at all so far. So, I called them and they offered me a case 3 times a week for 3 hours. It was out of my area and required lots of driving but I took it just to put myself in the active caregivers’ list and the boss’ memory.
At the same time I visited the staffing coordinator in the nursing center I got hired, with roses and Swiss chocolate and got more hours there. We also have to contribute for our wishes’ fulfillment ( and please only quality stuff to give to who you expect favor from).
Then one of the caregivers got hit by a car, nothing serious, but I got his case for a while. I was building more and more hours and I was also being called almost miraculously by a staffing agency.
One night, while working in a nursing home, around 21:30 I got a call from the home care registry ( it was a rule for me not to carry my cell phone while working, but that night it just happened to be in my pocket) for emergency situation with a guy in his house. The guy was an Alzheimer patient, violent at times, and his wife was not able to handle him. I got there after my nursing home shift and managed to get along with him. The agency boss was so impressed that I got the whole case just for me – every single night from 8pm to 8am = 84 hours a week. Plus my work in the rehab, already short custom made shifts just for me. Remember the chocolate? It always works and I continued to bring some of it. Plus roses. I worked 3 months with that case and then immediately got another one and another one till my departure on May 15th.
And since I needed car to drive to and from my jobs I kept my car till the last
minute and prayed to God to send me a buyer on the last day. And that also happened. The last day around 8:30 in the morning I put an ad in the Craigslist and half an hour later a guy called me and got the car.
God is Love
