Starting from Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera - Philippines - all below tropical sceneries are within walking distance or half day trekking distance. I started early morning a half day trekking tour all by myself to Tukuran - a beautiful jungle river scenery with crystal clear near drinking quality water. In May 2006 I already made this trekking tour from Sabang and was so thrilled of the nature's beauty that I decided to take the same trip all alone to have more time for nature and photography. Most of below jungle and nature sceneries are from this half day trip. The other pictures are from various walks or trike trips within neighboring few kilometers from Sabang Beach Puerto Galera.
If you love nature, specially lush colorful tropical nature, then Mindoro island is a true paradise for nature lovers. High tropical mountains covered with dense lush jungle vegetation. Beautiful rivers with clear water and many small idyllic waterfalls. Above all Mindoro is a paradise for butterflies. Most of the beautiful butterflies are far too fast for picture talking and seldom resting on a flower. However the nature beauty is made to be enjoyed by humans directly rather than for photography. May below dual monitor nature sceneries spark your curiosity and adventure spirit to spend more of your own time in nature or even to come and visit the beautiful Philippine islands. Traveling the Philippine islands is easy and the most loving people very welcoming. Beware however that many visitors never returned home to their origin. The temptation of staying in a tropical paradise is great and the many smiling faces are most inviting - making it easy to forget from where you came and where you wanted to return.
