Juniper Spring - natural pure fresh water pool

Hidden in the greenery of beautiful Ocala National Forest ( Google map ) you find the blue eye of Juniper Spring - a source of purest, cool water in form of perfect swimming pool, shaded and surrounded by lush green vegetation - swimming, snorkeling feels great - cool but refreshing and purifying. The old millhouse in the back side of the pool gives to the scenery the exciting picturesque touch.

Juniper Springs campground is one of America's top 100 Family Campgrounds - many of RV and tent sites, shaded campsites in the middle of the forest.

There are trails along the run until it reaches a wooden platform where the Juniper Creek canoe run begins. The creek is shallow, transparent and lush with plants and trees - considered by many to be the best canoe run in Florida. Canoe rentals and shuttle service are available from the campground service.
