There are guided evening tours from Granada for $30 per person which include: transportation, tours in the bat caves and lava caves and up to the volcano crater. If you want to go on your own the park entrance is on the highway to Managua and you can use any of the express buses Granada-Masaya to get there for C$20. |

A look into the crater | ||
There is entrance fee C$70 per person and its about 5 km to the top of the mountain. You can also arrange guided tours from the park for a few extra dollars. By taxi from Masaya all trip up to the volcano crater is some $20 plus entrance fees for the car and passangers. |
